Given the current state of the world, we’ve found it challenging to find the motivation to write about travel these days. We plan to write a detailed blog post about our trip to Kyoto in the near future, however, today we’d like to share some of our favourite photos of Kyoto.

There are many reasons to visit Kyoto. It’s considered to be the cultural capital of Japan and it’s said have 1,600 hundred shrines and temples. One can easily spend a month in Kyoto and still not uncover all of its treasures. The whole city is basically a UNESCO World Heritage Site

We spent four nights in Kyoto in October 2019. Most of our time was spent visiting temples and eating delicious Japanese cuisine.

Here are a few photos from Kyoto that will hopefully inspire you to visit once its safe to travel again.
